The Board <\/h2>\n

The Pohnpei Port Authority is governed by a seven-member Board of Directors who are appointed by the Government and confirmed by the State Legislature. The Board meets once a month and can also meet in special meetings to consider pressing issues, reviews and approve the operating budget, lease and contracts and other policy matters necessary for the efficient operation of the authority. Members of the Board shall serve a four-year term, subject to reappointment and until his or her successor is appointed and confirmed. The Board is composed of Mr. Mason Albert , Chairman; Mr. Trevayne Esiel, Vice-Chairman; Mrs. Silverina Pretrick, Secretary; Mr. Joseph Saimon, member; Mr. Alik Alik, member;\u00a0Mr. Master Halbert, member and a vacant Board member.<\/p>\n
